PC-> Mac <-> IIgs TrueType font Converter Kit Do you have a Mac? Do you have an Apple IIgs? Do you like TrueType Fonts? Would you like to have an easy method to convert your TrueType fonts for use with both Mac <-> IIgs? It's fairly easy to do you know. Just follow these simple instructions and use these Mac programs, included within this ShrinkIt archive. Step (1) Using the program Flipper (a simple little Mac program to convert file types) to convert a Mac TrueType font for use with the Apple IIgs, drag and drop the TrueType Font file over the Flipper icon and change the New Type to: BINA then change New Creator to pdos. Be sure to use the upper and lower case names as shown above. That's it. You now have a TrueType font for use with your Apple IIgs. Step (2) To convert an Apple IIgs TrueType font for use with your Mac simply use Flipper as in Step A then change the New Type to FFIL and New Creator to DMOV. You now have a Mac TrueType font. (place it in your Mac system folder inside of the font folder and reboot to be able to use it. If you have a PC r a collection of PC TrueType fonts that you want to convert for use with your Mac use the TrueType Converter Mac program to make the conversion from PC to Mac TrueType font. You can use the PC to Mac converted TrueType font for conversion to an Apple IIgs TrueType font with the Step (1) process. Both Flipper and TT Converter (Mac programs) are included in this ShrinkIt archive as .sit archives for use with any Mac 68k and up model.
