The TrueType fonts contained in systemfonts1.shk, systemfonts2.shk, systemfonts3.shk, and systemfonts4.shk are TrueType versions of the Apple system fonts (Courier, Times, etc.). If you own an Apple computer, you are legally entitled to use the fonts from the System Software. Until now, these fonts were only available to IIgs users as bitmapped fonts. This meant that even though you had Pointless, you had to keep the bitmapped versions of the standard fonts in your Fonts folder. With these TrueType versions of the system fonts, you can finally remove the old bitmapped fonts from your Fonts folder and use only TrueType fonts.
