The COLOR.SYS16 can be launched from the desktop with
any P16 system thru GS/OS v6.01. It's one of the very
first (author unknown) IIGS special effects graphic
super hi-res color demos. You can do some far-out
stuff with it then take a screen capture of it and
save it for more graphics editing, etc. You can
replace the pictures 1 thru 5 (COLOR0.PIC thru
COLOR5.PIC) with your own favorite ones to play with
and save also. You can have a total of up to ten SHR
pictures to use. You must name them as such: xxx.PIC0
thru xxxPIC9. Using the number keys (1 thru 0) gives
you a select/display of each (xxx.PICx) file. You can
also explore the keys on your IIgs keyboard for some
special effects. Try any and all keys and
combinations of them with upper and lower case to see
what happens to the picture displayd on screen. As
mentioned before, you can use any screen capture
program or util. to save any screen at any point of
any special effect. This program has not been tested
on a IIgs ROM 03. It may or may not work with the ROM
03. It has been tested with both ROM 0 and 1.
