OK, I believe I originally mentioned making my scans of Computist
available on CD several years ago.  So, after much foot dragging and
excuses, it's finally ready.

This CD contains the following:

Core #1 through #3

Hardcore Computing #1 through #3, the Best Of, the Promotional Issue
and all four updates (1.1, 2.1, 3.1, 3.2)

Hardcore Computist #1 through #51

Disk images of the Computist Starter Kit and some of the library disks

Partial indexes of the issues

I've gone through each issue and replaced some missing and corrupt
images, corrected some numbering issues and re-scanned some of the
covers.  A list of what I updated is included on the CD.  

While I don't doubt there are still mistakes and issues and pages that
should  probably be re-scanned, at least this will provide an
alternative to having to download each issue, especially for dial-up
folks.

In somewhat related news, now that this part of the Computist Project
is complete, I'll be able to focus on getting tarnover.org back up; an
ISO image of the CD will be available there for download, and probably
elsewhere as well.

So, to get a copy, just send me an email with your name and the
address you want it shipped to.  I'll send the first batch out this
Friday (Jun 3).  The CDs will be 700 MB/80 Min CD-Rs in jewel cases.

Do NOT reply to this post to request a copy.  I will ignore any such
postings, and will only ship to names/addresses received via email.

Oh, and there's no charge for any of this (except for international
shipping charges).
