Simon, Here is the actual init string that will work with that modem. ATZ^M~~~AT S7=45 S0=0 V1 X4^M~ The wavy things are shift-` the key next to the one key. There are 3 after the 1st M and one after the last M. The proper switch settings are: 1, 2, 4 and 6 - up, all others down. This should get you rolling. Also be sure not to set the modem port to more than 19,200.
