Apple made the Mac client case-insensitive, but not the Apple II side. AFP 2 specs "Cleartxt Passwrd" or "Randnum Exchange", well the GS CDEV only looks for "Cleartxt passwrd" or "Randnum exchange" This may also apply to those of you using WNT/W2K Servers (as opposed to PCMacLan which uses "ClearTxt passwrd" ) For those of you with Macs, It helped that I found a utility that would report AppleShare Server Information http://www.macula.se/index-eng.html
