The Etherwave will make it easy to hook up the IIgs to ethernet and to
access AppleShare servers using the AppleTalk protocol. *If* the
Etherwave supports MacIP then you will be able to use it with Marinetti
on the IIgs but you will still need a MacIP server to unwrap MacIP and
convert the data to TCP/IP. Not all external LocalTalk to ethernet
bridges support MacIP.

Realistically, your options are:

1. Use a hardware MacIP server (GatorBox, FastPath or similar). They
are cheap on eBay.

2. Use a software MacIP server on a Mac. IPNetRouter (in conjunction
with LocalTalk Bridge) handles this well.
