I've ported Hunt the Wumpus to METAL. However, it doesn't seem to play correctly. When it tells me there's a Wumpus in the next room, and I shoot an arrow into all three adjacent rooms, I miss...when I exit the room that supposedly the wumpus is next to, and come back, the wumpus isn't there anymore...or maybe i'm imagining...maybe the wumpus avoids the arrows and moves rooms??? I'll have to look at the code more to figure it out. It was written in basic, so all I did was remove line numbers, change goto's and gosub's to Labels, and made various commands conform to METAL's commands, such as RND(1)*20 to RANDOM(20). Anyway, log on to The BoycoT BBS, play Hunt the Wumpus, and if you make it crash, let me know what you did so I can fix it.
