It appears that the Thunderscan was designed for the Apple II but they added some adaptors to allow it to be used with the Mac. You van download a PDF of the Apple II Thunderscan Manual at http://www3.telus.net/waynes/thunderscan.pdf Wayne I just discovered that there is a version of the Thunderscan that is Mac only. I have several of the units and the Mac versions all had an adapter box that the Thunderscan plugs into. That box would connect to the Mac. If you're going to use the unit on an Apple II, you instead plug it directly into the Apple IIs game port. Right after I posted my previous message I was sorting through a box of Mac stuff I was give today and there was a version of the Thunderscan I hadn't seen before. Instead of the Thunderscan plugging into an adator box for Mac use, instead of a plug on the end of the cable, it ran into the box. This version was for the 128 or 512k Mac. The ones that had a separate adapter box were for the Mac II, SE and so forth. Hope you got the Thunderscan with a separate adaptor Box. Wayne
