The one with strobe on pin 5 and no connect on pin 9 is not correct for the IIgs - it is the older pinout used on the II, II+ and IIe. The IIgs circuit diagram (page 6 of 8 in the case of the original motherboard) in the IIgs Hardware Reference agrees with the documentation in the Hardware Reference on page 156 where it says: Note that the SW3 input is new to the Apple IIgs.
