You could call some routines from BASIC... >> Also, has anyone been able to crack Wings of Fury and/or Prince of >> Persia? I can make bit copy backups of Wings of Fury which sometimes work I was able to make a copy of Wings of Fury, but I don't remeber how. I wasn't able to copy Prince of Persia 5.25" (and I hate 5.25 disks) so I sent it to Broderbund (calling beforehand) asking for the 3.5" version, which is much easier to backup. I posted a simple patch to deactive the copy-protection on GEnie a long time ago. Here it is again: Prince of Persia 3.5" deprotect: Block: 7 Byte: $16 From: $90 (bcc) To: $80 (bra) Block: $A Byte: $8C From: $18 (clc) To: $38 (sec) This is to be used for archival purposes only. btw, I think one or both uses an 18-sector format. >> Oh, and one more thing... is there any program out there that will let >> me play Soundsmith songs from AppleSloth Basic? I believe Hubert sends shareware fee payers some technical stuff including a player in AppleSoft. Jay
