There's a new beta version of AppleWin available here:

Main enhancements are:
- Switched to MAME's AY8910 emulation
- Added support for SSI263 speech chip on Mockingboard
- Switched Speaker to use DirectX
- Rebuilt using DirectX 9.0b library
- Removed AppleWin calibration when starting a new version
- Fixed 6502 emulation cycle-count inaccuracies, resulting in:
    - Precise analogue joystick support
    - Precise Apple speaker
+ others

Apart from the changes documented above, I have re-written much of the
core emulation code (like the main loop). As a result of this, I
expect there to still be some bugs that I have not spotted (hence the
beta status of this release).
