Just happened to map some ROMs a couple days ago when looking into the MESS emu. The mappings I got for enhanced //e ROMs are ... 20480-byte Apple2e.rom ROM used in AppleWin (usually included in AppleWin packages) 0000-0FFF Video? 1000-1FFF Cxxx I/O and Slot Card area 2000-2FFF Dxxx Applesoft 3000-3FFF Exxx Applesoft 4000-4FFF Fxxx Applesoft and Monitor 32768-byte ROM APPLE2E.ROM used in A2PC is the same as Apl24win.rom used in Apple Oasis. (Usually included with 'Oasis; available in apple_iie_rom.zip on Asimov at ftp://ftp.apple.asimov.net/pub/apple_II/emulators/rom_images/ ) 0000-0FFF Video? 1000-1FFF Dxxx Applesoft? 2000-2FFF Exxx Applesoft? 3000-3FFF Fxxx Applesoft? and Monitor 4000-4FFF Cxxx I/O and Slot Card area 5000-5FFF Dxxx Applesoft 6000-6FFF Exxx Applesoft 7000-7FFF Fxxx Applesoft and Monitor When 1000-3FFF is deleted the remaining file is an exact match for the Apple2e.rom used in AppleWin. Apple II The 12288-byte ROMs seem to be plain Apple II. The IIP.IMG ROM used in AppleUni is the same as the APPLE.ROM ROM used in Apl2em. (Also very close to APPLE.ROM used in ApplerEmu. It has 4 extra bytes at the beginning.) Apple II+ The 20480-byte "APPLE2.ROM" ROMs seem to be for Apple II+. APPLE2.ROM used in A2PC is the same as the APPLE2.ROM used in AppleWin. (Available in apple_ii+_rom.zip on Asimov at ... ftp://ftp.apple.asimov.net/pub/apple_II/emulators/rom_image) Rubywand
