I don't have detailed information on hand for all of them, but here is what I know: 1977 Apple ][ (June) 1978 Apple ][+ 1983 Apple //e (January, I think) 1984 Apple //c (April) 1985 Apple //e enhanced 1985 Apple //c firmware revision with UniDisk suport 1986 Apple IIgs Woz & ROM 00 (September) 1987 Apple IIgs ROM 01 revision 1987 Apple //e "platinum" edition 1988 Apple IIc+ 1989 Apple IIgs ROM 03 1990 Apple //e emulation card for the Mac LC The June 1977 date for the Apple ][ is taken from Understanding the IIe, which says that this is when Apple actually shipped the first machine. I'm not certain of the date for the ][+, but it was definitely before 1980. (DOS 3.3 came out in 1980, and the ][+ predates that.) It might have been 1979 rather than 1978. The "Apple ][ Reference Manual" which covers both machines was published in 1979, though I have a 1981 revised edition. It says that the ][+ dates back as far as the revision 1 board, while the revision 0 board was only used in the ][. The IIe motherboard has 1982 copyright dates, and it is possible that some early machines came out during 1982, but the major release was in 1983. The enhanced IIe motherboard has 1984 copyright dates, but I'm pretty sure it didn't arrive until 1985. The "platinum" IIe may have been out as early as 1986, but I seem to recall hearing about it in '87. I remember the original IIc release very clearly, because it coincided with the formation of my local user group. The IIgs release date is also well known - magazine articles at the time. I haven't checked the exact dates for later releases.
