Look at the BLUE sticker on the drive motor (bottom of drive) If it says MP-F75W-01G, you have an 800KB mechanism If it says MP-F75W-11G, you have a Superdrive (1.44MB) mechanism. I've gotten the Superdrive mechanisms off of ebay for $2 each.
