Ross) Subject: Disk Drive Repair Message-ID: Organization: EZLink Internet Access Date: Thu, 27 Jul 1995 20:50:20 GMT Lines: 28 Hi-- I've had great success with: Infinite Service & Repair 2217 Downing Lane Leander, TX 78641 1-800-458-6778 He charges between $1.00 and $15.00 for labor, and says that most drive repairs do not require parts. Both of mine *did* (because I tried to fix 'em myself first :-}), but the price of his chips was square on the market. Turnaround is fast, I had my first drive back within 7 days, and I'm probably 2 days UPS each way from Leander, TX (which is just outside of Austin). He would like to be called in advance so he can assign an R.A. # to your drive, and recommends either enclosing $25.00 or a credit card number. I did the money in advance (in an envelope in the box with the drive), and got a refund check for the difference of drive repair and return shipping both times. I guess I should state that I have no connections with ISR, I'm just a happy customer who will not hesitate sending more business this way. Hope this helps. I'm also going to post this to the comp.sys.apple2 group for general information. Jeff Ross
