This has confused many people. My suggestion to people not being able to launch disks which are known to be standard DOS 3.3, is to copy another DOS image over tracks 0, 1, and 2. This can be done with Pronto DOS (from Beagle Brothers) for example. Once this is done, copy the disk to a file again, and it should launch OK.
