Hi Paul, >Nice one Oliver, it was worth the wait! Thanks :-) > Any chance that we'll get mouse driven >mousetext menus on the "enhanced IIe" version? (Or at least keyboard >driven mousetext menus). With all of those nifty symbols in ROM one >can't help to think about spicing things up a bit. Chances for mouse support aren't bad, but don't bet on it yet. Regarding more intensive use of mousetext one has to consider that Contiki is a highly portable multi-platform project. This makes it a "little" difficult to explore very special features. Additionally Contiki is written nearly completely in C and is built using cc65 (thanks to Uz !) on the A2. It makes heavy use of the C-library to a) keep it portable b) keep it fast/small as the C-library is written nearly completely in assembler. Bypassing the C-library breaks both and is therefore generally to avoid. And the cc65 C-library for the A2 has very limitted support for mousetext - just as much as you already experience. Oliver
