*** D A N G E R *** A new type of computer virus has appeared. Unlike a conventional virus, the MBI-virus destroys not only a user's soft- or hardware, it destroys the user's brain itself! Since the first appearances of the MBI-virus at the Microsoft headquarters, many years ago it has conquered the world and infected 90% of all computer owners, the situation is grave indeed! No virus protectors can help here, only the user himself can try to avoid it which is almost impossible. How can you recognize a victim of this virus? Like a drug junkie these guys show some peculiar behavior: 1) They change their computer type every half year 2) They demand faster and faster CPUs and larger and larger hard disks. 3) They boast about their "state-of-the-art" machines ( changes) 4) They are crying for better graphics even when they are watching TV. 5) They do not care for the quality of their operating system because they buy their computers pre-installed and use it only to start their programs. 6) They do not program. (Programmming? What is that?) 7) They do not remember any systems which are more than two years old. 8) They think they are happy with their system (until they trash it) 9) They delete all games which are more than one year old and replace it with super-graphics "Space Invaders" and "Jumpman" clones. 10) They never have any money! Sometimes the MBI-virus attempts to infect strong-minded persons. Usually these guys resist and try to program or re-install their new systems. In this case, the users are plaqued with depressions, outbursts of senseless violence, madness and early suicides. In the most of these cases, the affected persons can still be cured. Some get rid of the virus and manage to find a really good system, others become hermits and avoid computers for the rest of their lives. The best way to avoid the long suffering during the infection is to avoid getting infected. The typical carrier of these virus appears with suits, ties and a greedy smile in his face. Avoid these guys and stay away from un-clean computer stores. Try to find a loyal user group which performs "safe hex". Be aware of marketing slogans and keep your wallet close to you unless you want to spend money for REALLY good items. And last, but not least - have fun with your current system! Your psychiatrist
