FontPack GS is a compilation of hundreds of TrueType fonts from the
library of the Hidden Valley BBS for use on the GS with Pointless.  Since
1989, the Hidden Valley BBS has served the Apple II community of Downsview,
Ontario.  In 1996, with dwindling numbers and out of funds, we were forced to
close our doors.  Over the years, our members put together an extensive
collection of the best TrueType fonts from the public domain.  Rather than
see it go to waste, our librarian put together this compilation.

The fonts in FontPack GS are stored as a single resource file for ease of
handling.  The best way to use it is to put it in a partition other than the
boot partition and add the fonts from this location using the Pointless
control panel.  When the FontPackGS file is selected from this control panel,
all the fonts will show up in the list.  Although there are hundreds of
fonts, there is no danger of running out of memory.  Pointless only loads
individual fonts as they are needed.  FontPack GS is the one stop shop for
scalable fonts for desktop publishing and other IIgs printing needs.
