This is Omega, a "rogue-like" game using the text screen. I have ported it to the Apple IIgs as a test/demonstration of GS-Curses, the curses library I have written for the Apple IIgs. If you are more interested in GS-Curses than Omega I will be posting a library and object file here and source to comp.sources.apple2 probably Monday or Tuesday. I just have to work on the documentation a little. As for Omega, it's big. The executable is *just* under one megabyte so a hard drive is required (the whole setup might fit on a 1.44Mb floppy, but hard drives are more common...). Also, I don't think it will run an a 2Mb IIgs, 3 or 4 megabytes RAM should be OK. An accelerator is *highly* recommended. Omega is a bit sluggish on my Zip 7/32 accelerated IIgs, time to install the 20Mhz 65816 I have I guess... A Readme with slightly more information is in the archive and the game has pretty good online help. -Sheldon
