Deathlord Well, here is a version of Deathlord I think should work - I am the Saltine, one of the crackers on the title page :) The protection was so heavy on this game that I decided the easiest way to release it was with the "Master Scenario" disks in CopyA format (.dsk images for you newbies). Then my utility to create Scenario disks makes "protected" scenario disks - thus any protection should not affect the game since you are essentially using an original. This archive contains 6 disk images: 1) dthlrdbt.dsk The boot disk 2) dthlrdsa.dsk The Master Scenario Disk A 3) dthlrdsb.dsk The Master Scenario Disk B 4) dthlrdsa.nib Scenario Disk A (With 6 person party formed and ready to play!) 5) dthlrdsb.nib Scenario Disk B (also ready to play) 6) dthlrddx.txt This file To start the game, use the boot disk and you will get a title screen (The dragons' wings should flap, but for some reason in AppleWin they don't, this was cracked by The Saltine and the Sheik, and when the dragons' wings flap the 'cracked by' name changes - so in AppleWin you won't see both screens - no big deal though) The main menu gives you three choices: (Press the first letter of the choice to select it) 1) Utilities - Allows you to make scenario disks from Master Scenario disks. I have already created a set of scenario disks with a 6 member party formed, they are the .nib files. The scenario disks need to be in .nib format because the have protection on them. To create new scenario disks, use the 'Make Scenario Disks' option. Use the dthlrdsa.dsk and dthlrdsb.dsk images as the Master Scenario Disks and copies of the dthlrdsa.nib and dthlrdsb.nib images as the Scenario Disks. You will use a small utility I wrote that will copy the necessary data. You really don't ever need to use the make scenario disks options if you keep a backup of the .nib files included in this archive, since you can copy these disks easily. I have included the .dsk files for those inclined to transfer these disks back to a real Apple, then you need to use the .dsk files since the protected Scenario Disks are not easily copied, of course for the emulator, it is a simple as copying the .nib file! If you have made new Scenario Disks, you need to form a party using the 'Character Options' from the main menu. 2) Character Options - Allows you to create new characters and form parties. If you are happy with the characters there, then you only need to select the 'Assemble a Group of Adventurers' from the menu by pressing 'A'. 3) Play a game - Well, umm... lets you play :^) Have fun! I will put some docs out later - keep an eye out .^) The Saltine - Still Alive in '95!
