THE NEW FOLDERS FUNCTION

Access the NEW FOLDERS function from the WORK menu.  Use NEW FOLDERS to create folders on ProDOS volumes.  NEW FOLDERS can create one or more folders from the source path description.

Source files are not subject to filter tests, options or wild card matching.

Follow these steps when performing a NEW FOLDERS operation:
	(1).  Determine if the source path is correctly made.
	(2).  Select the BEGIN button.

INITIAL STATES FOR THE SOURCE PATH DESCRIPTOR:

There is only one initial state for the source path:  a new subdirectory path.

Example of making a new path:

Source:
:A:System:NewFolder1:NewFolder2      <-- Volume: A; folder: System; new: NewFolder1 and NewFolder2

Result:
:A:System:NewFolder1:NewFolder2     <-- NewFolder1 and NewFolder2 both created.


BUTTON ACTIONS IN THE NEW FOLDERS WINDOW

There are four buttons in the NEW FOLDERS window:  BEGIN, NEXT VOLUME, NEXT DEVICE, and CHOOSE PATH.
