Yeah, I've got perfect pitch, so I actually never have to do this... (yeah, right). You can use Toner (remember that?) to generate a pure tone. You, being a guitarist, should know that an A is 440hz (and 220, and 880, and 110, etc). The other notes fall in a log_12 distribution between two A's. ie: 440 and 880 are an octave apart, so the rest of the notes are spread across there logarithmically. I, of course, always forget which buttons to hit on my calculator to get that, but after playing around with the numbers for a few minutes, I get the magic combination... Gee, too bad I don't have Harvey the Wonder Calculator nearby, or I'd just give you the dang multiplier that you use to get each note... Oh well.
