Arcade King Super Copyright April 1991 Arcade King Super table version 1.0 This program is SHAREWARE. It can not be sold or bundle with another commercial product to be sold. The manual for the program Arcade King Super is a program that creates pictures and shapes. It also uses sound files. These objects can be saved seperately or saved together in a table. Arcade King Super can also play most Sound Smith (TM) music files. Version 1.1 has the following bug fixes and changes: When you save a paint file(PNT), two palettes are now saved with it. The palette used when you see the picture and the palette you would see if you used the restore switch. If you were in the mode to SEE a shape moving on the screen and then used the open apple - S key as if to save the table the program would lock up. This has been fixed. The reverb in the sound window would not work. That has been fixed. Every time you switched from the sound mode to the graphics mode the graphics window would shrink. This has been fixed. If you tried to save a table using open apple - S, and you had previoulsy changed the prefix by loading or saving a sound or music file to someother prefix then the one that the loaded table came from you would get a bad parameter error. This has been fixed. Version 1.2 has the following bug fixes and changes: The volumes for the music playing mode were not loaded correctly from a Sound Smith file. They are now loaded more accurately. When veiwing a shape the pointer can be put in the upper left hand corner of the shape. See manual for details The volumes are now loaded more acurately. Loading a background doesn't automatically load pallete and cycle information. That can be done separately. See manual for details Versions before 2.0 used $F1 - $F3 for the file types the Arcade King Super table maker created. Version 2.0 uses file types assigned by Apple. The program will load any type of file as a sound so there would be no problem with them. The music file is type $D5 auxiliary type $8005. The table or document is file type $5B auxiliary type $8005. There are several sharware and freeware programs that can change file types, if you have files of the old type. Version 3.0 uses resources for menus and windows and other things. It now plays Music Studio, and Synth Lab music along with Sound smith music. It no longe saves music in it's own format. It does save sounds in it's own format (similar to the hyperstudio format). It can also saves sounds as rSounds that can be used by system 6. It also loads hyperstudio sounds better. Version 3.1 Now prints 251 characters of text in the alpha mode. Clays.ATool has replaced Tool051 as the animation tool. Clays.ATool can be any tool number (1-255). Files included with this program.
