Visit Monitor II V1.0 By Bryan Smart From Warp Zero (September, 1993) This isn't supposed to be a revolution in software. Visit Monitor II is the replacement for the standard Visit Monitor CDA in the system ROM. I decided to put this out because I was sick and tired of using the Visit Monitor CDA in GS/OS, and always ending up wasting my system. This program is not a new monitor. The program installs an item in the CDA menu, which when picked, jumps to a routine in VM II. This routine performs some housekeeping functions, and then launches the ROM monitor. You don't have to worry about changing active banks, aultering registers critical to the program while disassembling memory, and other Misc. problems which have annoyed people for years. To quit VM II, type "Q" or CTRL-Y, and you'll be returned to the CDA menu. Installation ------------ Sorry, but something like this won't install easily under GS/OS. I've tried PIFs and CDAs, but it just isn't working. Currently, you can launch the file VM2 from the Finder or anyother launcher. The program is a p8 application which does nothing except install the CDA and patches, and quit back to your selector. Got any suggestions/comments? Feel free to give me a buzz or disk in the mail.
