I've included my Diary stack. Put both "The.Diary" and "Diary.Archives" in the same folder on your GS's hard drive (or leave them on the floppy - it doesn't matter) and they should work fine together. Once you've opened the Diary, click on the button with the question mark icon to get a blurb telling you all about it. I've also included my Phone (& address) Book stack for what it's worth. I can't claim any credit for this one; I think it's original version was included in the HyperCard package - I just pulled it to bits and put it together again to suit my own needs. It too should work well with the Diary provided it's in the same subdirectory. The little icon showing a book with my initials (DF) is supposed to represent the Diary (I didn't have room to scribe the word diary on it :-) Oops, nearly forgot; if you decide to try using the Phone stack it will need to have the Phone Log text file in the same subdirectory. Every time you make a phone call it will log the details for you (useful if you need to check your phone bill at any time) The other thing I've included is a Recipe Book stack; again this isn't my own work. This is one from Gareth Jones, but again I pulled it to bits and put it back together just for the hell of it. Most of the recipes in there are from Gareth, but I've added some of my own favourites. I hope you find these stacks interesting. They aren't particularly clever but I'm quite happy with them. I'm sending copies of them to Dr. Tom since he's interested in seeing my stuff too. Also, before I received the manual I pestered Steve Cavanaugh and Gareth Jones a few times with questions about HyperCard. They are the authors of HyperQuarterly - a HC magazine on disk. They too have shown some interest in my stacks, so maybe I'll get something published, who knows :-) Take care now, Dave Francis
