Babelfish Features Babelfish is designed so that you do not have to know about file formats. If youÕve used GraphicWriterÊIII or SuperConvert, you know that those applications were designed so that you would first identify the kind of file you wanted to import, then you got to select the file. This was easy if you had created the file, but it could become an annoying guessing game if you received a file from someone who didnÕt identify what kind of file it was. Babelfish simplifies the import process: you just choose ÒimportÓ and any file that looks like it can be imported is displayed. After you highlight a particular file, Babelfish tells you what kind of file it most likely is. If you are using SuperConvertÊv4.0, it will tell Babelfish to show only graphic files that can be imported; if you were using a word processing program it would probably tell Babelfish to show only text files that can be imported. The bottom line is that you simply must select the file you want to import, and leave the details up to Babelfish!
