Installing Immortal With Cheat On Your Hard Drive

The original cheat for Immortal was done by Joe Hack.  He altered the files       CODE on disk 1
                    and WINDOWS.BM on disk 2.
He also added the following files to disk 1:
                        CHEAT.SYSTEM
                        CHEAT.BAR
                        EXEC
                        RAG
                        DOS8
If you wish to eliminate the cheat from the game, copy the two original files packed with ShrinkIt over the existing ones, and delete the added files.

On October 21,90 Mack Three altered the following four files
to run on a hard drive:
                        DOC8.SYSTEM
                        CODE
                        EXEC
                        DOC8
The following instructions will install Immortal on your
hard drive.  Copy both disks to a directory called IMMORTAL on your hard drive.  You only need one of the SMUS directories.  Each disk has a copy on it.  Copy the above four files and the basic starter IMMORTAL over the original files in the folder.  You must not boot directly from GS/OS to start the program, so run IMMORTAL.  When prompted to switch disks, just hit a key and it will load up.
A 3 1/2 version of the program won't run with these files installed

Enabling the Cheat-
To enable the cheat, type <control>-OA-ESC... just like if you were going to the control panel.  This will give you unlimited health.
