Subject: dApple - NEW Apple IIgs emulator for PC's From: spec@vax2.concordia.ca (Mitchell Spector) Date: Fri, Aug 28, 1998 1Ç49.Û Message-id: <28AUG199816493708@vax2.concordia.ca> I came across this announcement on a software emulation website, and thought I'd share it here. I'm not looking to generate discussion about it, though as I mentioned in an post the other day, feel it is acceptable to post announcements new Apple emulators (besides, after hinting about this new emulator, I got several e-mails asking for more information). :) ------begin--------------------------------------- Apple // Announcement!!! I recently started (4 days ago) a new Apple // - ][gs emulator. Features WILL include support: full directX sound/graphics, Win9X AND NT 4 platform, 5.25/3.5(Uni)/HD, Speaker/Mockingboard/Ensoniq, Patching, Save State, Adjustable drive speed, Joystick, etc, etc. Currently Completed: 6502 Core 65C02 Core 65C816 Core GUI Core is written in 32-bit assembly. GUI frontend with Delphi 3 Pro. Looking for any and all information regarding Apple // series and GS. (I tired of porting from that MAC!!!) Thanks! -----end------------------------------------------ The author's name is Tom Knorr (tknorr@acumen.net) and just today mentioned will be where news and information will be found concerning dApple. It doesn't seem to be up yet, but may be by the time you read this. I'm personally looking very forward to seeing this completed, considering how terribly disappointing XGS has turned out to be (I haven't seen XGS-32 yet). Follow-ups on this topic should be moved over to comp.emulators.apple2. Mitchell Spector spec@vax2.concordia.ca
