About GS.ROM.IMAGES folder contents

The files consist of both the IIgs
ROM images for both ROM 01 and 03
designated by file names respectively.

GS.01.ROM.SHK (this is a ShrinkItGS v1.1 archive file. Download as binary only.)
GS.01.ROM.sit (This is a StuffIt archive - for use with GS Mac Emulators)
GS.03.ROM     (This is a raw bibary file. Download as binary only.)
GS.03.ROM.SHK (this is a ShrinkItGS v1.1 archive file. Download as binary only.)
GS.03.ROM.sit (This is a StuffIt archive - for use with GS Mac Emulators)
GS.03.ROM     (This is a raw bibary file. Download as binary only.)

Note: The GS 00 ROM was not included - because both 01 and 03 ROM are the
      standards and GS 00 ROM (the original ROM with the first IIgs release
      is limited and had several bugs that were removed with the improments
      in the release of the 01 ROM.
      
      There was never a released IIgs 02 ROM, as it had many bugs and was
      improved with the removal of these bugs then released as 03 ROM.
