Much easier to just by PC formatted disks and partition them with Advanced Disk Utilities. If you want to be able to use the disk on a Mac also then use Mac formatted disks and select EJECT when the Mac driver partition tries to mount. Not being able to use the password protection feature means that if you have a Mac disk that some one has forgotten the password on it is easy to just use the GS to get the files off of it and reformat it on the Mac and then copy the files back on to it.
