AW/Network J __________________________________________________________________ AppleWorks Network And Message TNot a SystemU __________________________________________________________________ Problem: Users of AppleWorks Network may get the message Tnot a systemU when trying to log in to the program. Solution: When logging through AristotleUs Menu Display, the Administrator/Teacher has to specify in Aristotle the pathname(s) to the program(s) that will be available to the student. For example, to make AppleWorks Network available in the studentUs menu display, the teacher will enter: Pathname:/APPLESERVER/APPLICATIONS/AWNET/APPLEWORKS Prefix:/APPLESERVER/APPLICATIONS/AWNET Explanation: The reason for this is that AppleWorks Network has a different file name than the one most AppleWorks users are used to, which was APLWORKS.SYSTEM in the single user version of AppleWorks. The AppleWorks System file name is now simply APPLEWORKS. When logging into AppleWorks Network, the pathname specified has to go all the way to the AppleWorks program name.
