Network Printing on the Network

Problem:

AppleWorks Network users will occasionally experience difficulty 
in printing to a networked printer.

Solution:

An AppleWorks/Network user must have access to the Chooser program 
to be able to select the network printer to which she wishes to 
print.  With Aristotle, the Administrator/Teacher can assign to 
which program(s) a particular Class may have access to the 
Chooser, and other files.

Additionally, to print to a LaserWriter printer from the network 
version of AppleWorks, the ImageWriter Emulator file must have 
been downloaded already to the printer. 

Finally, to print to a specific network printer the Startup Info 
for that particular user or node on the server must have the 
proper printer type and printer name specified.
