AWGS J __________________________________________________________________ Converting AWGS Graphics Files Or APF Files To Macintosh __________________________________________________________________ It is possible to move an AppleWorks GS Graphics file to the Macintosh by using the freeware Apple II program, SHR.CONVERT. To do this, you must save your AppleWorks GS graphics file as an APF (Apple Preferred Format). Then use SHR.CONVERT to convert the file to a GIF file. Once it is a GIF file, then you can move the graphic to the Macintosh by using Apple File Exchange. Many Macintosh graphics applications can read GIF files, and convert them to more ordinary Macintosh graphic file formats, including MacPaint, PICT, or EPSF. Some of these applications are high-end graphics applications, such as Adobe PhotoShop, PixelPaint Professional, or are shareware utilities like Giffer, or VisionLab.
