AppleWorks J __________________________________________________________________ Years in Dates Format to 2 Digits __________________________________________________________________ Dates do not appear as depicted in the RDate FormatS preferences screen. Although the screen and manual indicate otherwise, four-digit dates cannot be entered (all are considered part of the 1901-1999 era) and years ending in 00 are simply lopped off. e.g.: Apr 24 2000 --> Apr 24 Jul 4 1776 --> Jul 4 76 (1976) This has always been the way AppleWorks displays dates. The solution is to enter dates in the following format: 19891231 for December 31, 1989 This will ensure correct sorting of dates.
