Changes from AppleWorks 2.0 to AppleWorks 3.0

Here's a summary of changes and new features between AppleWorks 
2.0 and 3.0:       

A. Description of Product

AppleWorks 3.0 is a major revision to the previous AppleWorks 2.1, 
which greatly enhances the AppleWorks product in several key 
areas.  In general, the changes/enhancements can be described as 
follows:

General:

% Support any additional memory found in the computer without 
requiring a patch

% Customized preloading

% Standard settings support in: (Spelling Checker, Date/Time 
formats, Data disk location, Printer)

Desktop:

% Additional printers supported: ImageWriter II, ImageWriter LQ, 
Brother HR series, Okidata: 192, 193, M82, M83, M84, M92, M93; 
Panasonic: 1080, 1090, 1091, 1092; Juki: 5500 series, 6100, 6200, 
6300, 6500.

% Support 6 user-definable printer Tspecial codesU

% Easy Pathname access

% Smart Save (Open Apple-S = current data disk location;  
Control-Open Apple-S = change data disk location to fileUs current 
location).

% Expanded Clipboard:

- add support for Copy/Move of blocks

- transfer data between All modules

- Clipboard size limits governed only by available memory

% Enhanced Text Import/Export (add support for tabs on ASCII 
Import/Export)

% 40k available desktop memory (56k in 2.1)

% Patches: 

- Control-Reset returns to Main Menu

- Read system Date if available, otherwise request  from user

- Open Apple (1,9) to scroll in directory lists

- Warning of duplicate filenames on Desktop

- Allow more than 9 copies of single printout

- Open Apple-Delete deletes characters to the right of cursor

% Date/Time print codes added to printer options

% Multiple line Headers and Footers

% Real Ruler Tabs added (Left/Right/Centered/Decimal)

% Open Apple-T for modifying or creating New Tab Rulers

% Support Copy/Move of Tab Rulers

% Open architecture for 3rd-party enhancements

Spreadsheet:

% Add Copy/Move Blocks

% Prints entire spreadsheet instead of truncating sections to the 
left

% Handle Labels separate from Values (affects Lookup, Choose, If, 
And, Or

% Add New Functions:

Arithmetic: EXP, LN, LOG, MOD, PI

Trigonometric: ACOS, ASIN, ATAN, ATAN2, COS, SIN, TAN, DEG, RAD

- Round function improved to be more accurate
