AFC Marvin : I see you were talking about network access to AOL. 
              I have been doing quite well recently
AFA AndyW  : I've had 9600 give a throughput of only a few CPS 
             greater than 2400..
AFA AndyW  : I haven't had any problem here..
AFC Marvin : logging in at 9600.  From time to time all the 9600 
             lines will be busy but most of the time it has 
AFC Marvin : been working quite well.  I should try 14.4 and see 
             if that works.  So far I have never had a 14.4
AFC Marvin : connection.
AFA AndyW  : I'm still on the //gs..  Can't do 9600..
AFA AndyW  : Not many 14.4 nodes out there yet..
AFC Marvin : I no longer plan to log on with the IIGS for fear my 
             account will be deleted come November 1.
AFA Fixit  : Haven't seen any listed.
AFA AndyW  : The 9600 node here is just 9600..  Will drop down if 
             I dial at 14.4..
AFA AndyW  : None are listed, but some will work at 14.4..
AFC Marvin : One of the fellows I work with was able to get on at 
             14.4 once but could not do it after that.
AFA AndyW  : I'll be on with the //gs until I get the PC..
AFC Marvin : It probably depends on which modem he lands on when 
             he calls in.

             would be nice to have here..

             seen the private chat spill into a public room
