Subject: Audio Recorder for Apple II (with cassette port)
To: "Steven E. Nelson" <CMDSENPG@UIAMVS.BITNET>

Play a sound into the IN on the cassette port, type CALL 768 to record the
sound (this will the fill the memory space set aside by the program). To
save the sound to disk (DOS 3.3 users type POKE 43364,255 before this),
type BSAVE sound.filename, A$800, L$8E00. To listen to sound, (type BLOAD
RECORDER if not already in memory) type BLOAD sound.filename (to load sound)
and the type CALL 823. The recording and playback speeds are set at 4 (when
set at 1 the sound is better but also shorter in length). To change these,
POKE 784, number (recording speed) and POKE 839, number (playback speed).
