ProDOS A2-DES is my version of Paul Guertin's DOS 3.3 A2-DES. It encrypts and decrypts files in CBC mode. The Merlin source code is available on request. ProDOS A2-DES is freeware. This particular version of A2-DES (p2.0) is my reworking of the code to make the encryption algorithm adhere to the Standard. I know it sounds kind of silly, but that's just how things worked out. Previous versions processed a lot of the data in reverse order. Now it's right, but that means A2-DES p2.0 can't read files made by earlier versions. I suggest you decrypt any old files with the appropriate version, and then re-encrypt them with the new version. Then throw away all old versions of the program.
