According to Apple's licensing agreements, the /FP disk should not have been put up for ftp access. I'm glad it was, but to all that are interested in using it and including it in their programs, please write to: sw.license@applelink.apple.com and they will supply you with the floating point disks and appendix for _The Apple Numerics Manual_ which I also recommend getting. Please don't jump on this immediately or they might start charging postage and stuff. Try to randomly select a day and time to send a message. Ask for the object code for the 6502 SANE software and give your snail-mail address. To our overseas friends, I don't know if Apple ships this package out of the country. Don't let that stop you from asking though. You can then legitimately use the fp stuff with HyperC. If you include fp65 or elems65 as part of any software you develop and market, Apple Inc. expects some type of yearly fee. I think that is fair. I believe (I may be wrong) that the same goes for the FORMATTER available also from sw.license. /* Andy Werner HYBRID CONCEPTS st2975@siucvmb.siu.edu * * HyperC enthusiast st2975@siucvmb.siu.bitnet * * !The only freeware 8 bit C compiler for 65xxx based Apples! * * Laser 128EX 4Mhz 65802 (CPU now supported by HyperC) */
