Launch the the program GS-Shrinkit 2. Open the file "EMBE-M2.BXY", select all files and click on the "Extract" button 3. Choose as destination the folder where your ORCA/Shell is installed (this folder contains the program ORCA.SYS16) 4. Klick on the "Extract" button (or press CR) -> GS-Shrinkit now copies all files to their correct places in the ORCA/Shell folder. 5. Quit from GS-Shrinkit. 6. Copy the file EMBE.ICONS/EMBE.Icons into the ICONS folder of your startup volume. Delete the folder EMBE.ICONS. 7. Edit the "AddTo..." text-files now located in the "SHELL" folder and copy their contents into the corresponding shell initialization files. (You can use either a desktop text-editor or the ORCA/Editor. Note that you should place the languages command "MODULA2" in its alphabetical place in the list of names of the SYSCMND file) 8. Due to a feature (?) of the ORCA/Linker it is necessary that the library files are setup in a certain order in the LIBRARIES folder. To avoid problems during linking always make sure that the library files delivered with EMBE/Modula-2 are listed in the following order: 4. M2EXTRALIB 3. M2STANDLIB 2. M2SYSLIB 1. MODLIB 9. Do not forget to read the files release.notes and embe.readme. These files contain important information. Now your system is ready to go with EMBE/Modula-2 installed ! Have fun III) user-manual: EMBE/Modula-2 Version 2 ========================================================= The file manual.bxy contains the EMBE/Modula-2 user manual in postscript format. There are 2 versions of the user manual. One for US-letter paper format, the other one for german a4 format. Unpack manual.bxy to obtain the files modula2mUS.ps and modula2mA4.ps. You can print these files on any postscript compatible printer. The Documentation is available in printed form on request.
