Robotics ======== A platform-type game I wrote as a 15-year-old back in '86. Works very well under STM, apart from the title music, which is unrecognizable; after it starts, quickly hit any key to turn it off. Relevant controls (from memory): From the title page : CTRL-S : Show hi-scores. CTRL-W : Wipe hi-scores. CTRL-L 0-9 : Set starting level. (There are 10.) Any other key: starts game in keyboard mode. (L+R arrow keys, space.) Button 0: start game in paddle/joystick mode. During the game: CTRL-S : Toggles sound between off, action sounds only, and action sounds + music. You *will* want to turn the music off after a while. CTRL-V : Toggles between 3 different volume levels. Migods! This actually kinda works under STM. If you knew the skanky hack behind being able to vary the volume on an Apple II, you'd be impressed too. CTRL-R : Stop the game. ESC : Pause the game. I guess this is Freeware now. I give Jim & Kevin full permission to do what they like with it. It's the least I can do for the waves of nostalgia they've supplied me with over the last few days 8).
