Most files are available by three methods. The file name link downloads files from the server you are currently on using the HTTP protocol. The HTTP and FTP links following the file name will retrieve the file from the master Trenco archive using the HTTP or FTP protocols, respectively.

catrez.100.shk (17 k) Retrieve from Trenco by HTTP or by FTP.

chmod.100.shk (35 k) Retrieve from Trenco by HTTP or by FTP.

chmod chmod allows you to change the permissions on a file. This is an enhanced version which allows you to change options ala UNIX or using the Apple specific flags (UNIX values are translated into Apple equivalents). [version 1.0]

chmod.210.shk (17 k) Retrieve from Trenco by HTTP or by FTP.

copyfork.10.shk (3 k) Retrieve from Trenco by HTTP or by FTP.

copyfork This utility selectively copies data forks, resource forks, or both. The command line syntax is a bit odd. See also catrez. [version 1.0]

cp.150.shk (21 k) Retrieve from Trenco by HTTP or by FTP.

cp cp does file copy operations. Suitably invoked, it also moves files (mv) and deletes files (rm). [version 1.5]

dd.100.shk (110 k) Retrieve from Trenco by HTTP or by FTP.

dd Convert and copy a file. [version 1.0]

dos2gs.100.shk (42 k) Retrieve from Trenco by HTTP or by FTP.

dos2gs dos2gs will read MS-DOS disks on an Apple IIgs equipped with the Applied Engineering PC Transporter card and a 360 KByte TransDrive. It will also read PC Transporter MS-DOS Partitions on ProDOS volumes. It works under GS/OS rather than under MS-DOS. [version 1.0]

getvers.101.shk (11 k) Retrieve from Trenco by HTTP or by FTP.

getvers Print information from rVersion and rComment resources [version 1.0.1]

install.100.shk (29 k) Retrieve from Trenco by HTTP or by FTP.

install Install is similar to cp(1) in that it copies files. It will also create directory hierarchies, modify certain access bits, and convert TXT or SRC files into shell shell scripts (by changing the file and aux types). It is intended for use with Makefiles or other scripts to install files into their destination directories. [version 1.0] This is a symbolic link to ../scripting/install.100.shk

mformat.110.shk (16 k) Retrieve from Trenco by HTTP or by FTP.

mformat mformat is designed to format or erase a disk for use under MS-DOS. It requires an MFM-capable drive, such as Apple's FDHD drive with the Apple II 3.5 Drive Controller card, or a PC Transporter and TransDrive. [version 1.1]

mi.100.shk (17 k) Retrieve from Trenco by HTTP or by FTP.

mi [OBSOLETE]. mi is an early version of rimport. It allows for mass import of data into a resource fork. [version 1.0]

mstools.200.shk (312 k) Retrieve from Trenco by HTTP or by FTP.

This is Peter Watson't set of MS-DOS tools, version 2.0. They allow manipulation, including writing, of files on MS-DOS media.

rattr.100.shk (64 k) Retrieve from Trenco by HTTP or by FTP.

rattr Change the attributes of one or more resources. [version 1.0] This is a symbolic link to rtools.100.shk

rcompact100.shk (64 k) Retrieve from Trenco by HTTP or by FTP.

rcompact Compress resource forks so that they use less disk space. [version 1.0] This is a symbolic link to rtools.100.shk

rcopy.100.shk (64 k) Retrieve from Trenco by HTTP or by FTP.

rcopy Copy individual resources from one file or another. [version 1.0] This is a symbolic link to rtools.100.shk

rh.100.shk (119 k) Retrieve from Trenco by HTTP or by FTP.

rh Recursive file locater. [version 1.0]

rimport.100.shk (64 k) Retrieve from Trenco by HTTP or by FTP.

rimport Mass import of data into a resource fork. [version 1.0] This is a symbolic link to rtools.100.shk

rrm.100.shk (64 k) Retrieve from Trenco by HTTP or by FTP.

rrm Remove one or more resources. [version 1.0] This is a symbolic link to rtools.100.shk

rtools.100.shk (64 k) Retrieve from Trenco by HTTP or by FTP.

Resource file tools. This archive contains the programs rattr, rcompact, rcopy (formerly rcp), rimport, and rrm. [version 1.0]

setvers.101.shk (11 k) Retrieve from Trenco by HTTP or by FTP.

setvers Sets the rVersion information on a EXE, including name, version, and any other information the author wishes to include. [version 1.0.1] This is a symbolic link to getvers.101.shk

touch.100.shk (35 k) Retrieve from Trenco by HTTP or by FTP.

touch Touch will set the file modification time to the current (or specified) date and time. It will also create the file if it doesn't already exist. [version 1.0] This is a symbolic link to chmod.100.shk
