Most files are available by three methods. The file name link downloads files from the server you are currently on using the HTTP protocol. The HTTP and FTP links following the file name will retrieve the file from the master Trenco archive using the HTTP or FTP protocols, respectively.

desc.db.shk (36 k) Retrieve from Trenco by HTTP or by FTP.

Current describe database (not the describe(1) program itself), in its "compiled" form. The file in this NuFX archive is a binary file.

desc.src.shk (44 k) Retrieve from Trenco by HTTP or by FTP.

Current describe database (not the describe(1) program itself), in "source" form. The file in this NuFX archive is an ASCII file.

desc.txt (556 bytes) Retrieve from Trenco by HTTP or by FTP.

Description of the files desc.db.shk and desc.src.shk, including the date on which they were last updated.

This is the Frequently Asked Questions (and answers) list for the USENET news group "comp.sys.apple2.gno". This directory also contains a log of recent changes, and usually the next-to-current version as well as the current version of the FAQ.

templates10.shk (21 k) Retrieve from Trenco by HTTP or by FTP.

This is a collection of templates for GNO. They are intended to assist programmers new to GNO in the creation of "standard" information for their programs, libraries, and so forth. Included are templates for man, describe, rVersion, and rProgInfo. [version 1.0]
