About:NTGS2DD5.SHK -> This is number 5, of the 'INFAMOUS - Dr. Tom's', NTGS v2.0 data disks continuum.  It contains 5 ProTracker MODS, (2 pairs of the same MOD, each of them has the original, exactly as I received it, with 'ORIG' on the end of the MOD title, for you to listen to and compare and the same MOD, enhanced, altered and/or modified, remastered, remixed and saved as an Amiga ProTracker Module with NTGS v2.0.  NTGS v2.0 is the only current NEW release of a FreeWare - GS/OS application full feature, music program and MOD Editor for GS.  

These MODS have 'NTGS' on the end of the MOD title. They were designed and are presented, for you to study the different CORRECT and INCORRECT special effects of each.  So you can hopefully, learn how to make them sound better, by fixing them to make your own specially designed ProTracker MODS, using NTGS v2.0. 

The fifth MOD, 'MOD.A.n.H.NTGS' is a 'U4IA' original, that I composited and enhanced with NTGS v2.0, using several small portions of many other MODs via the NTGSv2.0 cut/copy/paste Edit options and a few remastered, enhanced or new sounds, all designed with 32k sampling rates, using DigitalSessions.  With lots of special effects enhancements added, I think you'll find it very interesting and entertaining to listen to.

The NTGS2DD5.SHK file also contains a ReadME.NOW text file (an exact duplicate of this file you are now reading), a small but, interesting collection of sound files and a MOD Player - NDA, the new FreeWare release of Sonobox v1.00, with its detailed documentation file.  

I'll be including Sonobox, with all of the future releases of NTGS2DDx.SHK files, in the event you don't have it.  It's the only MOD Player that I personally use anymore, because it's simply the BEST !

There's a multitude of both proper and improperly placed special effects commands, in the two duplicate MODs with 'NTGS' on the end of their file name.  I designed them like that, so you can use your Audio and MOD Editing skills to learn, thru trial and error, what to do, to make them sound as good as possible !

All of these MODS' will show you just what a fantastic job of playing MODS, the new SONOBOX - NDA can do.  Sonobox will play them, with total accuracy, even though they may have a great many special effects errors and/or incorrect parameters within them.  

The 'NTGS' MODs may sound horrible in some portions and fantastic in other portions. With their special effects, some are errors and some are OK.  You may hear them often presenting strange clicks, pops, slides, hormonic distortions, etc.  You name it, with respect to special effects errors or some very unique and correct special effects enhancments, the two 'NTGS' MOD duplicates have it !  Sonobox, presents them all, with crystal clear accuracy, errors and all.  Try holding down the S key, while playing a MOD, with Sonobox, for some astounding 3D soundscape shifts.


The 'OTHER' GS MOD Players, may totally FREAK-OUT, if you try playing these MODS on any of them.  'Trust me, I'm a doctor!  I know what I'm talking about'.  You really should use only Sonobox, to play these MODS.  No hype, no jive, it's simply the BEST.

With over 1.2 GB's of NTGS music, modules, MODfiles, samples, sounds and instrument files to be released by me, the contents of this SHK file contains, the fifth in an endless? series of such files.  All MODfiles and sample file contents in this SHK file, are public domain, for all GS music users to have and enjoy !  You should find them all useful with your efforts, when using NTGS v2.0, for editing, enhancing, converting and remixing, with them.
