======================== A.P.P.L.E. Update # 12 www.callapple.org 24 September 2002 ======================== This week at Apple PugetSound Program Library Exchange Another month has come and gone with one more issue of Call-A.P.P.L.E. magazine going out the doors as well as work continuing on the next issue. While this makes our 6th issue, we are in no way going to be stopping there. We currently are working on ways to enhance the content and also to improve our support facilities. The new A.P.P.L.E. Crate BBS is now online. We had a few minor glitches with our old software which was making it almost unusable. The decision was made last week to replace it and here less than 5 days later, we have the new system up and running. The only problem with this software change is the fact that all users will need to register their BBS logins again. (This is not related to A.P.P.L.E. Membership) You can log into the BBS by going to the following URL: http://www.callapple.org/bbs2 Also be sure to vote for the 2003 A.P.P.L.E. officers. These officers will serve the users group in the upcoming year. While several of you have already voted, we need more participation in this vote. The polls will be closing on the 1st of November with the new officers being announced the same day. Only 5 days left to vote! (This poll is available to A.P.P.L.E. members only) Other Items We have also added many new items to our catalog this month and will be adding more hardware and software in the coming weeks. One item of interest which we have this month is the Macintosh LC580. These are not used machines, they are New old stock. Supplies are limited so get yours today. You can check out the catalog at www.callapple.org/cat.  About Apple PugetSound Program Library Exchange A.P.P.L.E. is an all volunteer user's group which supports members in the Apple II , Macintosh and iMac communities.
