This is a 6502 assembler that originated at Columbia University.
bsc is a BINSCII encoder. BINSCII is the Apple II equivalent of uuencoding. It is the method by which arbitrary files (including binary and forked files) may be encoded for transmission over non-8-bit-clean media. It is also the encoding scheme required for postings to comp.binaries.apple2. [version 1.2]
This file contains some brief notes that accompanied the posting of the bsc.120.tar.Z archive to comp.sources.apple2.
This is a beta-level 65816 disassembler written by Kelvin Sherlock. It lacks some features (like OMF) but should produce clean output. It has been compiled on linux (i386 & mk) & AIX. [version 0.1.1]

This is a set of entries for the /etc/magic file on UNIX systems. These entries will cause the file(1) command to show useful information for various Apple II files, rather than just listing them as generic "data".
nulib is a NuFX archive utility. It will extract files archived by ShrinkIt, ShrinkIt-GS (gshk), Balloon, and similar programs. It will also archive files using LZW-I compression, and remote Binary-II wrappers. (The default for the other programs is LZW-II compression.)
This directory contains various versions of nulib. The most recent is version 3.25 (beta3/final).
This is the next-generation nulib NuFX archive utility, also written by Andy McFadden. In this directory you will find both sources and prebuilt binaries for some platforms. The original site is http://www.nulib.com.

sciibin is a decoder for BINSCII-encoded files created with bsc, gscii, or similar programs. This is just the one source file, and thus should be used in conjunction with the sciibin.310.taz archive. [It is designated version 3.2, although it's shown as 3.10 internally.]
This is a brief description of the sciibin.320.c.Z file.
