Most files are available by three methods. The file name link downloads files from the server you are currently on using the HTTP protocol. The HTTP and FTP links following the file name will retrieve the file from the master Trenco archive using the HTTP or FTP protocols, respectively.

aplwriter21.shk (75 k) Retrieve from Trenco by HTTP or by FTP.

AppleWriter is a freeware word processor, with the ability to allow customized printing and formatting. While it predates and is not as user-friendly as AppleWorks, AppleWriter can output very good looking documents. This is the ProDOS version of the program. [version 2.1]

awinstruct.txt (28 k) Retrieve from Trenco by HTTP or by FTP.

This text file contains instructions for using Apple Writer. It is written for novice users, and doesn't cover Apple Writer's more powerful features, but is a good guide to the basics. This is a symbolic link to ../../doc/awinstruct.txt

aw21patch.shk (11 k) Retrieve from Trenco by HTTP or by FTP.

Patches for allowing printing from AppleWriter on a IIgs.
