Most files are available by three methods. The file name link downloads files from the server you are currently on using the HTTP protocol. The HTTP and FTP links following the file name will retrieve the file from the master Trenco archive using the HTTP or FTP protocols, respectively.
An 8-bit terminal program, supports X modem upload and download; Y and ZModem download only. Requires 128K Ram, enhanced //e or better.

Modem MGR is a communications program for the entire family of Apple II computers. It features speeds up to 19200, a full-featured text editor, macros capability, and terminal emulation (you are able to use either pre-defined emulation such as VT52/100/220 or define your own) and file transfer capability. Both ProDOS and DOS 3.3 versions are available; the program will support most Apple II hardware for communications, printing, and peripherals such as clockcards. The ProDOS version also features Y-and Zmodem file transfers, and a reverse buffer scroll.
Talk is Cheap (TIC) is a communications software package for the Apple //e (enhanced 128K), Apple //c, Apple //c+, Apple IIgs and the Laser 128. TIC and its related source code files have been placed into freeware status by its author, Don Elton. Please see the included TIC.RELEASE file for additional information.

TimeOut Telecomm gives AppleWorks users the ability to go online from within the AW envrionment. It features the ability to send text directly from the desktop, VT-52 emulation (among others), a review buffer, the ability to print the current screen being shown, and a splitscreen option. Protocol transfers are limited to 128 xmodem, 128 xmodem/CRC, 1k xmodem, and 4k xmodem. Compatible with AW3 and up, this program has now been released as Freeware by the author, Mark de Jong, and is being released via the Lost Classics Project.
